Mediliant Acquires CTE Solutions

Mediliant, a contract manufacturing company based in Switzerland, has announced the acquisition of CTE Solutions, a contract manufacturing company based in Plymouth, Indiana, specialized in the manufacturing of spine implants.
 
Founded in 1950 and specialized in the medical sector since 1989, CTE is recognized in the spine industry for its technical expertise.
 
As a group, the company will be focused on implants for spine, extremities, and trauma. They will have access to technology and capabilities currently not available in the Plymouth location, such as sterile packaging. They will also be able to share resources to help support their customers’ product launches.
 
Other Acquisitions
In August 2020, Mediliant acquired MDI LLC, a contract manufacturer of extremity and trauma medical devices, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
 
Mediliant’s acquisitions of both MDI and CTE Solutions are an initial step in forming an orthopedic contract manufacturing group whose members share a similar corporate culture, entrepreneurial spirit, and customer-centered approach to business.
 
“As a group, our focus will be on manufacturing medical devices for spine, extremities and trauma. Our goal is to position ourselves to better serve our customers with the additional resources, knowledge and technologies that we can provide as a group,” Mediliant leadership stated.
